I have three current fiction projects:
Blood on the Snow is a historical novel set during the textile strike in Lawrence, Massachusetts, during 1912. It tells the story of 15 year old Eva Michaux who leaves school to serve as a note taker for the feared labor union, International Workers of the World. The story turns on the exodus of starving children from the city and dramatic testimony before Congress. The book is complete at 54,000 words and is currently being marketed to agents.
Blood Moon is a thriller set in 2004 which follows police lieutenant T. S. Bowman as he seeks to find a suspected serial killer who operates out of Reno. This book is currently undergoing major revisions.
Kull will be my stab at Young Adult dystopian fiction, perhaps the first of a trilogy. The book (which exists as a vague thought in my head) is set in a world where recombinant DNA engineering has created a number of variants of homo sapiens, some of which are actively seeking domination over the rest. Naturally a plucky young heroine will attempt to save the day.
